Internationalization
Apprentice now supports eight interface languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, and Turkish. Every screen, menu, dialog, and system toast is translated. Coverage is not limited to the visible UI: notifications, desktop toasts, delegated task summaries, and settings validation messages all arrive in your chosen language.
A new Language and Region section in Global Settings lets you set the interface language and the number, date, and currency format independently. Both default to Auto. Auto number format follows the language you chose rather than the machine region, so reading Apprentice in German on a US laptop gives you German dates and prices. If your machine already uses that language natively, its own regional variant wins: German on an Austrian machine stays Austrian.
Counted text picks the right grammatical form for each language, including the three plural forms Polish requires. Numbers, prices, file sizes, dates, times, and relative timestamps all respect the chosen regional format throughout the app.
Fixes
- File and download sizes above one gigabyte were displayed as thousands of megabytes instead of converting to GB.
- Costs smaller than one cent rounded down to $0.00 on the dashboard instead of showing enough decimal places to be readable.
