I treat the information you entrust to TripleBits as if it were my own. There are no surprise trackers, ad networks, or data resale programs hiding behind the scenes.
Whenever you want to leave or simply clean things up, you can export your data or delete your account directly from your settings.
What I collect
Only the essentials required to run your account and deliver the services you asked for.
- Account details you share, such as your name, email address, and authentication preferences.
- Billing data routed through Stripe — I see the last four digits, expiry date, and billing profile, never full card numbers.
- Device identifiers when you use TripleBits products — to verify licenses and understand active usage. No personal data, usage patterns, or telemetry beyond activation is transmitted.
- Support conversations and any internal notes I keep to provide better assistance.
How that information is used
Every data point has a clear operational reason.
- Authenticate you securely and keep unauthorized access out.
- Send essential product and billing updates — no marketing blasts unless you explicitly opt in.
- Improve the platform by looking at aggregated usage patterns, not individual behavior.
Retention and deletion
If I no longer need the data to fulfill a contract or comply with the law, I remove it.
- Account content is removed within 30 days of closure unless you request an export.
- Invoices and tax records are stored for five years to satisfy accounting obligations.
- Support threads are archived annually so I can reference resolutions when you return.
Third-party services
A small number of partners help me operate TripleBits.
- Stripe powers payments and billing — their privacy policy governs payment information.
- CloudFlare provides DNS and network protection. Traffic routes through their network before reaching my servers.
- Umami provides privacy-focused analytics — it collects anonymous page views without cookies or personal identifiers.
- Everything else runs on infrastructure I own and control.
