A small but important release driven by a real incident. If you had "minimize to tray on close" turned on, beta.6's auto-update could leave the app running invisibly instead of restarting, and a corrupted database afterward would fail silently on next launch. Beta 7 fixes both halves of that scenario.

Auto-update now closes the app properly
When you install an update, the app shuts down cleanly instead of hiding to the tray, even if you have "minimize to tray on close" enabled. Previously the updater could get stuck waiting for an app that thought it was minimized rather than quitting, which prevented the new version from being installed.
Native error dialog when the app cannot start
If something prevents Apprentice from starting (corrupted database, broken install, failed migration), you now see a native error dialog explaining what happened, instead of a silent failure where the loading cursor flashes for a fraction of a second and nothing else appears. The dialog tells you the cause and, where relevant, points at the pre-update backup file you can restore from.
