Switch between AI providers without losing your agent's conversation history. A new update overlay keeps you informed during app updates, and agent navigation remembers where you left off.
What's new
Provider switching
You can now change an agent's provider (e.g. from Claude to LM Studio) directly in General Settings. If the agent has an active session, you will see a confirmation showing the session name and message count. On confirm, the current conversation is queued for summarization so the agent carries forward its context when the new provider starts.
Update overlay
When the app applies an update, a full-screen overlay shows the target version and progress. No more guessing whether the update is still running. The app restarts automatically when done.
Tab memory for agents
Navigating to an agent now takes you to the tab you last used (chat, tasks, overview, etc.) instead of always landing on overview.
Improvements
- Session summarization is more reliable with models that include thinking output
- Slash command modals position consistently across all views
- Navigation errors are handled gracefully instead of silently failing
- Session name in the provider switch dialog no longer shows "(resumed)" suffix
- Background services shut down faster when closing the app
